#2 The IBM Convention in Reno
--------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll be at the IBM convention in Reno this week.
My friend D.J. Ehlert and I will be working at a
booth this week under the name of
RestaurantMagicians.com.
DJ has a new course for restaurant performers
called Success Strategies for the Restaurant Performer.
We will be selling our products togther in a bundle

#3 Why go to conventions?
--------------------------------------------------------------------
If you've never gone to a magic convention, then this
is for you: Go!
If you ask the usual convention attenders why they go to
magic conventions, I'm sure that you'll usually get the same
types of answers: "Fun", "Meet old friends" "Watch shows"
Yes, those are all good answers, but I want to suggest something
you might not have considered:
INSPIRATION!
When I watch the excellent world-class performers at these
conventions, I get a double reaction:
1) "I'll never be that good..."
2) 'Wow! That makes me want to work on my act!"
I always get an ENTHUSIASM SHOT-IN-THE-ARM.
It gets me going.
And that is invaluable. INVALUABLE!
It is easy to get stuck in a rut. Conventions help to
give you new eyes. They help you to look at yourself
and your act in new ways. They open your eyes to
possibilities!
So, attend a convention! You'll be better for it.
And the convention will be better by having someone
like you there, who really cares about performing.
That is the quick performing tip for you this month.
I hope to meet you sometime at a convention.

#4 MAGICBASE NEWS: 2.6 Is Ready!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The best MagicBase ever created has just been released:
It is version 2.6.
Why is it the best and most important?
- This version has an updater built into it. This means that
if you have any other version of MagicBase, you can download
this version (for free) and run the updater to bring your
old MagicBase up to 2.6!!
- Version 2.6 has a new feature called the Actions To Do List View.
That means that if you have any actions to do, you can see them
all in a list and select the one you want without having
to scroll through the others.
- Version 2.6 is required to upgrade to the new
MagicBase Pro, which will be available in 2008.
Best of all Version 2.6 is available now.

To all current owners of MagicBase:
You'll need an authorization code to unlock MagicBase
so that it is fully operational. The demo download will

Note that I'll be at the convention, so I won't be responding
to emails until July 2nd.
Note to Mac users: For some reason, after I zipped
MagicBase, the main file icon "MagicBase" is blank.
So, to start it, just click on any of the other MB icons.
