#1 - Double Your Kid Show Income

I got hired by a national organization that was having a
convention in Rochester. They called to hire me for a
magic show. But they indicated that they had 2 hours
to fill. Well, they weren't asking for a 2 hour show and
I wasn't offering one. But I told them that I had an idea
for their second hour: a Balloon Animal workshop.
I told them that I could teach the 60 kids how to do a
number of balloon sculptures. They hired me for 2 full
hours: Magic and Balloon Workshop.
I got double my usual fee from a customer. And both the
show and the workshop went very well.

You could do this too. You only have to know a few
balloon animals: dog, hat, sword. And then we also
handed out jumbo balloons (320s, I think). And the kids
shot them around the room. It was wild!

Why should you become a member of the MPA?
+Learn new routines that you can add to your magic show.
+Share ideas with other magicians and performers.

Memory Performers Convention.

I do memory demos/tricks in almost all of my shows. It sets me
apart and makes me unique from every other performer in my
state.
Currently, membership is very casual.

#3 - Advertise with Dex?

This spring Dex Media, and it's holding company, RH Donnelly,
filed chapter 11. Will this affect your advertising?
I don't know. But as an advertiser in Dex Media, it makes
me cautiously decide not to advertise with them again.

We are currently at version 3.0.5. If you don't have it,

But we are now testing 3.0.6. It should be ready very soon.

What's coming up in version 3.0.6:
The biggest news is that we now have a Thank-You Note
built in. The customer's data is labeled across the top
and there is a big space for you to type or write a note to the customer.
Then you can just print it out a business envelope
addressed to the customer and mail it out.
Super easy! And Professional!
We've also added some new improvements
on all of the drop-down menus.
You can create the items that appear on all of the
drop-down menus and they will get transferred
in every update so that you never have to re-type them.
And there are a number of other improvements.
We'll let you know when it's ready!
