#1 - Create a "Pull" Kit

What's a "Pull"?
If you're a magician, you've probably used one at some time
in your performances. It's a device that retracts and removes
a magical prop or tool.
The most common pulls are elastic strings that attach to the
belt or up the sleeve. There are more complicated systems
that involve strings and pulleys connected inside the clothing.
But it could also mean some invisible thread and a method
for attaching it to something.
For certain tricks, they are a valuable and secret tool,
when used correctly.
I've developed a kit with some items to help me to create
pulls. It contains many different items that could be used
to create almost any type of pull.

The Pull Kit is a way to help me be organized and keep all
of these little gadgets and stuff all in one place so that
I can quickly find them.
I just used it last month to create a pull for my
"Makin' Sparks" battery powered Funken Ring
from Sylvester the Jester.

#2 - Relentless Ring & String Routine on DVD

Relentless has been my best seller.
It was a book created in 1997. Then it was a VHS tape made
in 1999. Then the tape was just dubbed to DVD.
But, for the first time, it is completely digital:
digitally recorded, edited and produced on the new DVD.
My friend, DJ Ehlert helped me create the teaching tracks
on the DVD. We both are featured performing our versions
of Relentless, and we have a section together where we share
some tips and ideas.
The new DVD has the great, award-winning routine, of course.
But it also has lots of extras:

"Thanks for this informative newsletter. Most other newsletters I get
don't have many items of interest to me personally, but yours does...
The second story you wrote about regarding breaking your own rule
(i.e., never letting anyone else handle your equipment) was not a true
case. You didn't break your rule when you specifically asked the person
to LET YOU KNOW if they needed to move anything of yours."

#5 - MagicBase Pro News

It has been a long time since our last update. But we have been
working on MBP continuously. There have been some changes
to the programming engine that we use (Filemaker Dev),
so that has forced us to do make internal changes to our
program that you will never notice. But the result is that it
has delayed our latest update.
However, I am once again testing the next version.
I'm hopeful that it will be released very soon.
